GIVF-SRM Certification Exams

In accordance with the aims and objects, Clause (a) and (t) of the registered constitution of the Society, various certification courses and exams are conducted by the GIVF-SRM for different categories of professional membership of the GIVF-SRM.

1) Basic Course of Reproductive Medicine (BCRM)

2) Advanced Course of Reproductive Medicine (ACRM)

3) Master Course of Reproductive Medicine (MCRM)

4) Basic Certification in Embryology (BCE)

5) Master Certification in Embryology(MCE)

Objective:

 

To enable aspiring reproductive specialist to acquire requisite knowledge and expertise to advance their career in Reproductive Medicine, managing their working schedules and busy clinical practice.

 

Mode of delivery is flexible and mostly online keeping in view risks associated with ongoing Pandemic and enhanced professional commitments of medical professionals.

 

Basic Course of Reproductive Medicine - Structure:

 

BCRM  Part-1:  Theory (1 Module each week, 3 pm to 4 pm)

BCRM  Part-2:   Andrology, IUI (Hands-On Simulator Model) / Practical Log Book (PLB)

 

Mode of Delivery (For each part, separate Certificates of Attendance shall be awarded):

 

Part-1:   100% Online through E-Classroom  (3 / 4 months)

Part-2:  On Site – Hands On Training (Respective Cities – As per announced schedule) / Practical Log Book (PLB)

               (Upon completion of Part-2, Accredited Certificate shall be awarded)

 

Mode of Assessment:

 

Multiple Choice Questions (Case Scenarios) (70%), Discussions (10%), Assignments (10%) on Each Module to be submitted online in E-Classroom. 10% Marks are allocated for Webinar Attendance for each module, recorded sessions attendance also acceptable with 5% marks deduction. Required Passing Marks 60%. 

Unlike few lectures based on very few days sessions, in Basic Course of Reproductive Medicine (BCRM), a comprehensive and broad based structure is developed so that after attending all modules, participants can positively and constructively apply appropriate learning into practice, after meeting domestic regulatory requirements, if any.
